Okay yesterday's puzzle wasn't such a good success. Let's try this one:
There are five books side by side on a shelf. Their colors are gold, orange, pink, and gray. The following information is known about the order of the books:
1. The orange book is between the gray book and the pink book.
2. The gold book is not first and the pink book is not last.
3. The brown book is separated from the pink book by two books.
A. What is the position of the gold book?
B. If the gold book is not next to the brown book, what is the order from the first to last of the five books?

Day's not starting off so well -- the colors of the books are gold, orange, brown, pink, and gray. Forgot the brown one. I'm going to try and edit.
Thank you for decreasing the necessary amount of intelligence needed to solve these puzzles! It really helps boost my ego. ;) But the order of the books is as follows:
Pink, Orange, Gray, Brown, Gold
Brown, Gray, Orange, Pink, Gold
I got the same answer as Kellie.
Heh, I also appreciate that this one was less hard. :)
The gold book cannot be next to the brown book.
oops, I forgot about part B.
dang, me too! Here I was thinking I was so smart. :(
I guess you need to make the puzzles even LESS challenging for us! Here's my version of an appropriate puzzle of the day:
What color is the sun:
a. Blue
b. Pink
c. yellow
HAHAHA!! I LOVE it!! That is the greatest puzzle ever! Course you might get Dustin trying to contest that by saying, well what sun are you talking about? (or something like that) :P
Blue?????
Umm...did we get an answer yet? I'm always late on reading these puzzles. But my answer is Pink, Gold, Orange, Brown, Gray.
Haha! I actually thought about Dustin saying something like that! But the question isn't for smarty pants!
Pink Gray Brown Orange Gold
