It's been a while since I've blogged anything, and my SIL's are getting on me about it so I'd better get going.
First thing, I got my hair cut short (shoulder-length) and I succumbed to a side part with side bangs. The side part has always been my mom's style and as we have similar features, I didn't want to look even more like her. But I found a style that was different enough for me to be ok with and I went for it. I was thinking of getting pink highlights, but that didn't pan out. Oh well. I never got around to posting pictures because I never took any of my new hair. I still haven't so you'll just have to live without knowing right now. I did this right after school let out for the summer.
I've also gotten back to playing World of Warcraft after my long school term away from it. Fun times abound there. I'm really getting into aspects of the game that never really interested me before.
And last week I got to go on a family vacation with my parents, Brett and Kellie, Tom and Christy and my Grandma E. We went up to Lake Almanor which is about 3 hours north of Sacramento. It was a nice relaxing and fun vacation. We lazed about for most of it which is always nice. We also got the chance twice to rent a boat and jet-ski. It was so much fun. I'd like to do it again sometime. We also went to see Burney Falls which was really pretty. It was a very beautiful lake and the weather was wonderful. I got some color and managed to not burn! Amazing stuff.
Other than that, I have plans in August to go to BYU for their Choral Academy, which should be fun. Maybe I'll get the chance to see some people I haven't seen in a while again who are living up there. Much fun ahead! I'll let you all know how that turns out.
