Fish Anyone?

We had the missionaries over tonight for dinner and what a surprise it was for them. One of the current missionaries told us a while ago that he was allergic to fish and my mom being the diabolical schemer she is couldn't resist a little fun.

My mom made individual meatloaves in the shape of fishes and we had salad with Parmesan goldfish crackers as croutons and mashed potatoes. Also, we have these cute glasses with fish all over them that we filled with blue raspberry drink to make the fish look like they were swimming. For dessert we had ice cream sundaes with Swedish fish on top.

It was funny how the Elder reacted when he noticed all the fish stuff. Very nervous. We brought out the main course and he said he wouldn't eat any of it until he knew what it was. After a bit he got into the joking attitude and we had a fun time. He seemed to really enjoy the Goldfish and Swedish fish quite a bit. We said that his allergy to fish must all be in his mind. :P

Our family likes to play around and has done a lot of fun dinners with the missionaries over. I enjoy having them come. As the elder said, "Man you guys go all out!"
