Puzzle of the Day

Sometimes people with large vocabularies use unecessarily flowery language. For example, the title of not one but two Alfred Hitchcock thrillers could have been "The Male Homo Sapiens with an Overabundance of Accumulated Data." Fortunately, the title he used for both versions of this classic was The Man Who Knew Too Much. What were the original names behind the following florid movie titles?

1. Greetings, Handtruck
2. Taurus Throwing a Tantrum
3. Occidentally Located Narrative
4. The Gargantuan Facile
5. Solar Satellite of the Members of the Pongidae Family
6. Distance Divided by Time
7. Obliterated from Existence in Conjunction With Atmospheric Vapors in Motion
8. Departing from the Most Populous Metropolitan Area of the Silver State

It's really not that hard if you look up some of the bigger words...like Pongidae = apes.
